TorWind Gives back to Joplin Missouri

Natures Most Violent Storm... The Tornado is the foundation of why TorWind products opened its doors to educating and protecting customers in both the public and private sector.  The tornado is one of the most violent storms on Earth and in 2011 record breaking Killer Tornadoes have occurred. 

On May 22, 2011 a deadly EF5 tornado hit Joplin, Missouri killing hundreds and leaving thousands without a home. 

TorWind Products felt the devastation and the impact it had on the community of Joplin so during the months of June-November 2011 for every product purchased TorWind gave $2.00 to "Joplin Tornado Relief"

TorWind CEO, Barry Storms, presented a check to the "Joplin Tornado Relief" on November 28, 2011 in the amount of $212,000.00  Storms commented,   "Today we stand strong with Joplin in the rebuilding process and this donation is a small step to a major rebuilding of a tight community here in Joplin." 

In addition to the monetary donation TorWind donated 2000 NOAA weather radios to schools, businesses, and emergency personnel.
